Palmer View Apartments

"Fine not great. It was suitable for what it is, a basic apartment. The photos and amenities definitely play up the "luxury" aspect, you'll quickly find it's average at best. In it's prime everything was nice, but most amenities and features have not been updated in some time. Within the greater Lehigh Valley there are quite a few other apartment offerings comparable in price, but with newer amenities and similar cost. The office staff is generally nice but be prepared to submit multiple maintenance requests before getting anything resolved. One instance of this was a malfunctioning dryer (fire hazard, yikes!), I had to submit three maintenance requests before it was resolved. Many other examples for other issues as well. If you enjoy a walkable lifestyle, you'll be limited to Walmart and the adjacent shops, unless you're willing to walk in the road with busy traffic... The sidewalk abruptly ends in both directions. There is a lot of noise from the highway as well as the busy road behind the apartment (Van Buren Rd.), it's surprisingly very loud. With the growing amount of construction in the area and Corriere being one of the major veins, I imagine this will only get worse over time. Additionally the units are just loud. The walls and ceilings are thin, so be prepared to hear every thump and tumble from your neighbors. The USPS service can be tricky. Sometimes they just won't deliver mail (but mark it delivered) and sometimes they will deliver to the leasing office (so you are limited to office hours to pick up, and if the name on the mail doesn't match your lease exactly, there's a chance the office staff will return to sender). This has improved over time, but generally I would not have 100% confidence in the postal service at this complex."

"Nicely equipped apartments. Property management team is friendly and quick to reply to questions and issues. Maintenance issues get fixed quickly by friendly staff as well. There is a nice dog park and dog salon on site. The pool and pool area are nice and kept clean. The only reason i didn’t give 5 stars is they are a little pricey, but with all the amenities it kinda balances out. All in all I like living here and it was a good move for my dog Lexi and I."

"We are very pleased with our entire experience at Palmer View Apartments. Everyone in the Leasing Office went above and beyond to make sure that our needs were taken care of. We were especially impressed with how the management graciously accommodated all of our inquiries and concerns. The units are modern and spacious, with plenty of parking and beautiful outdoor scenery to enjoy. Excellent in every way!"

"Move in was great!! Kimberly is amazing and super helpful! We loved working with her! She ran us through so many apartments and broke everything down for us and made everything super simple for us first time renters! After moving in we have settled into our routine here. There are sidewalks everywhere with lots of green areas for walking the dogs. The dog park is really great, even when it’s cold the dogs love running around in there. We haven’t had any issues with other tenants. Everyone is very nice and we have met lots of awesome dog people on our walks! :) all in all a very cool place to live. Very conveniently located. The maintenance staff is fantastic! They are super quick to respond to any issues and very professional and helpful."
