"Beware roadside service and tow companies. This company Pleasant Trucking Inc. requested emergency road service on 01/22/2014 in the state of Virginia on I-66 for broken air lines and they dispatched my company and approved work and all new parts installed, after writing up invoice after the job was finished we had driver sign the invoice and proceeded with payment by calling the individual from Pleasant Trucking dispatch to receive payment and they refused to pay for the job that was completed because they wanted our company to also fax them a copy of the invoice to them before getting paid, I explained that I gave a copy of the invoice to the driver and when we return back to the office we would then fax Pleasant Trucking a copy of the invoice because we have no access to fax machines inside of service trucks along the highway. They again refused to pay the bill and we had to proceed in removing the new parts that we installed. Road Service had to absorb the cost of fuel, employee’s time, and 55 miles roundtrip in the 10 degree cold weather and snow for a military veteran business owner that has a very good reputation."
