"Atmosphere is perfect. Amenities are great. Can pay for a garage or reserved spot(waiting list) and there’s plenty of things within walking distance. Not to mention the staff are friendly and care tremendously about everyone. They hosted a Halloween party and you can tell the staff really wanted it to be a success. Definitely recommend."
"I'm on my second term at the Point Let's talk about the PRO's of the place. 1.) It's new so everything is still nice, works well. The apartments are well designed and I like the quality of fixtures, windows, A/C and Heat, etc. 2.) Maintenance needed to look at my dryer once, no biggie. Mechanicals and machines work well. The maintenance folks are quick and nice. Plus they live here just in case there is an emergency. I've never had one, thankfully. 3.) The pool and gym are nice and have enough to get you in shape/stay in shape. It's usually empty. 4.) Location is convenient to places, stores, 202, 30, etc. 5.) The grounds are very well maintained. 6.) The mgmt team is nice, friendly and professional. They fixed the issue with the receipt of packages, the removal of garbage and the cleanliness of those rooms has dramatically changed for the better....thank you. Here are my CON's about the place. 1.) I've met some nice friendly people here but a lot of folks are unconscious most of the time and only concerned about themselves with no thought or regard for their neighbors. This results in the following: a.) Noise and disruptions.....slamming doors at all hours (morning, afternoon, evening, late evening), that'll make you jump out of your skin. I've been awakened out of a dead sleep due to this nonsense. There is a 10pm to 8am quiet time rule but it's unenforceable. Do I really need to ask/tell a grown adult how to open and close a door softly. If you need to get to bed early I hope you fall asleep quickly. b.) Hallway smells of weed all of the time. This is not allowed and all tenants have to sign a form stating that they will not use/deal drugs here. If you need it for medicinal purposes then you have to get a doctor's note which anyone can get these days for around a $120 visit. c.) Most people who own a dog here have zero idea on how to walk, train and care for a dog. I had a dog lunge and bark at me...not only did the owner not reprimand the dog she said nothing to me. I now walk the other direction if I see this dog and owner....clueless. I also had to complain to mgmt about a dog barking for hours during the day and evening. I eventually had to fix it directly with the owners.....thankfully the dog has stopped barking. Multiple emails have come out since I've been here about people not cleaning up after their pet as well. d.) Smokers....ugh. This is a smoke-free facility, again unenforceable. The smokers don't even try and hide it. Came home last weekend and two guys were standing next to an apartment (outdoors) smoking by the door to the stairwell....but at least they said hello. They also tend to gather over by the walkway that leads to the boardwalk area....just lovely when you are trying to enjoy the only slice of Nature on the property. The non-smoking rule was one of the reasons I moved here because I despise the smell of cigarettes and it irritates my lungs. But as long as these addicts get their fix why think about anyone else. Then they litter the place with their butts....classy 2.) Rent will increase from year to year and I get it but it's a sizable jump (my little studio jumped almost $100 a month) that is nowhere near a cost of living increase if you're lucky to even get one these days. 3.) The road noise from Rt 30 can be obnoxious at times. Can sound like a drag strip....stupid. 4.) 9/28/23 Addition - Tenants think its okay to play rap music (loudly) at 8pm on a Thursday night in the courtyard. Lyrics include multiple uses of the N-word, F-word along with other tasteless lyrics....this place is going downhill quickly. I would have cut my lease short but the penalty is ridiculous......2 months notice and a 2 month penalty for a grand total of 4 months owed. I feel like a hostage while others continue to break rules, do as they please and have no respect for others.....make them pay my penalties so I can get out of here. I'm counting the days until I can put in my notice and get to somewhere more peaceful."
"Great place for families and singles. Good amenities."
"Don't fall in love with apartment community just by looking at lobby and garden area. Read below - 1. Shallow kitchen cabinets – Kitchen cabinets are too shallow and deep; you will have lot of trouble taking things in and out. Large cabinets are placed too high and almost of no use, If you are short person. they had electric wiring(socket) inside the cabinet in my apartment. please refer picture below, who builds apartment like this in 2021? 2. *** Noise complaints even with walking*** – Apartments have wooden floors and lot of issues with intolerant neighbor complaining about walking. Don’t expect any help from management. All they will ask you to do is to keep adding rugs in walking areas. 3. *** Inconvenient to get in and out of apartment building with grocery bags *** Keys are required to get into the apartment building and even to use elevator, if you enter with grocery bags in your hands getting into the building is a headache. 4. During first year of stay lot of service requests /repairs took lot of time to get fixed under the name of “Warranty” . Maintenance staff was good but they were not authorized to fix things that fall under warranty as they apartment building was new. Hope this has been fixed. 5. Not enough parking spots – You will have difficulty finding parking especially if you are coming late in the evening as they don’t have enough parking spots and parking is always full. Guest parking even for few hours required permit. 6. They have 2 dog parks but no KIDS play area."
