Holly Brook Apartments

"Asked about renting an apartment & was told that there was an apartment currently available on the first floor. I was interested and asked for more info, and told the rental agent (don't know her name), that I would like to know the process to rent the apartment since I was able to afford it and could even give a security deposit and two months rent if that's what was required. I also asked for an application at that time. Never heard back from her again. Guess they aren't too interested in renting their apartments."

"Terrible place for people who like silent environment, the office would allow its worker doing decorate without any notice through whole day, you'll never get a good rest since it already last 2 weeks, the sound is like a nuclear boom under your bed, and like the worker keep pulling the trigger of their airgun, no cleaning service or insect control, the only reason I would recommend living here is you can pay little bit less than other places."

"The apartments are nice. The staff is terrible MariBeth is disorganized, disrespectful, slow at responding, and quite clearly doesn’t care about you or anyone but herself. The water in our apartment has been off for over a week. She is claiming that it’s a contractor scheduling issue holding it off and refused to make temporary arrangements for us until pushed by everyone in the apartment. She’s lying about timeframes and won’t share what’s wrong. It’s been a horrible experience that is unfortunately part of a pattern of unprofessionalism."

"The manager Maribeth is very disrespectful. Horrible at communication and could not respond to emails or phone calls. You could tell she is not interested in your application but kept on pretending and lying. She even accepted the booking fee which she refused to refund in full after telling her we were no longer interested in her services, claiming it’s a company policy not to refund all the money. I wish there was -ve star."

"I've been living at Holly Brook for about 5 years and absolutely love this apartment complex. There are several buildings, some with older apartments, some with newer renovations. The apartments are spacious, nice, and affordable. Management is great- Maribeth is a very nice landlord, responsive to emails, and when you have a maintenance request they respond very quickly. There are washer/dryers in every building, but you do have to pay to use them (~$2 per load). The apartment is very quiet and walls are thick. There might be some students living here, but its mostly young professionals, so its not loud and you don't have to worry about BU students partying here. My only complaint is that maintenance typically plows the parking lot around mid morning, after most people have to go to work, so it can be difficult to get out if there's a big storm. I also wish it was dog friendly, not just cat friendly. But overall I love living here and feel its the nicest apartment complex in the area that isn't student housing."
