Reviews of Dr. Kermit O. Simrel Jr, MD
"They only do physicals for two children in a family a day, if you have more than 2 children dont go here or you will have to take off on multiple days!!! Horrible"
"Dr. Simrel has been a part of our famly since my daughters (ages 26 and 23) were kids. I enjoy his quiet spirit and he is so patient with my rambunctious 6 year old grand daughter. The nurses can use some training in people skills. The front desk staff is always pleasant."
"Dr. Simrel has been my son's Pediatrician since he was an infant. I began bringing my son to him after his lung surgery when he was only 18 months old because I did not trust his previous doctor. He is now almost 9 years old with very healthy, strong lungs. We have seen Dr. Rainey in Dr. Simrel's absence and she was just as wonderful as Dr. Simrel. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. I'm not sure where they moved to but I will find them. My son loves them and I couldn't ask for a better pediatrician."
"On February 28,2017 I attended the Children's Pediatricians I got assisted by the nurse name Dr. Lisa Rainey I stated what was wrong with me by telling the nurse the issue and pain I am dealing with, she ask me questions of what was actually taking place, and maybe it could been something else. By getting seen I actually felt uncomfortable when getting assisted, they act like they did not know what to do. When getting everything done that day she said she will call me of that week to get back with me with the results. As you know I had to call them, I called them on the 6th of March, which was a Monday. Dr. Lisa Rainey gave me the results and stated to me that I will have to go to the lab, she ask what day will I be attending I told her sometime this week, she said she'll send off the order to the lab which was fine with me. I decided to go to the lab on Thursday March 9, 2017. I called the lab to see if my name was on the list, and they said no so I called my primary doctor to see why my order wasn't sent yet? I was getting frustrated to where no one was trying to assist me on the phone and at that they hung up on me, so I had to call them back which took so long to answer. I finally spoke with an actual nurse I explained the story of what took place and when they looked u my name and date of birth she said she never sent the order off. By explaining my review of this doctor I felt it was rude and unprofessional of how they handled me of coming on March 28,2017. In other words I would not want no one else to experience what I experience of getting assisted. I was actually in pain, so I didn't even go back why go back so they can just take my money. I felt they took advantage of me by how old I was, and maybe of the insurance I have."
"I have to really think about if I am going to continue to take my kids to Children's Pediatrics in Clinton Md. I encountered a nurse who was brooding before she gave my daughter shots in which I had to hold every aspect of her body according to the nurse who looks like she hates her job. Then when I asked for a visit summary, she wanted to refer me online and to the front desk in which the front desk referred me back to her. I had to get in her face a 2nd time to get a summary and than have to deal with her nonchalant attitude. The front desk people have always been great, but the nurses seem to forget that you pay their salary and have refused to do things that is part of her job cause she is hungry. It doesnt make me want to schedule another appointment with them. And lastly, I was not thrilled with Dr Economides either. We usually see Dr. Arlene P. Nichols who is great, but this visit today has rubbed me the wrong way."
