"**edited Neighbors: 1 star —rude entitled brats who don’t get reprimanded and never learn actions have consequences because the landlord seems too busy to deal with them Landlord Communication: —Usually gets back to you within a few days but Melissa is very short toned and constantly thinking about herself and telling you things like ‘she does this work for all students so you need to wait’ or things like ‘I’m doing this or that’ to maybe make you feel bad for coming to her with an issue?? I don’t know but she’s very unprofessional, this seems like too much work for one person Amenities: 4 stars —gym is tiny and used by the disrespectful tenants B&L houses, tanning is on a very tight schedule Apartment: 4 stars —everything looks modern but this means the property owners are extremely strict. Kind of weird that I couldn’t have the couch removed as I had gotten one of my own B&L Maintenance Review: 5 stars —problems are always fixed by them and they are all such nice, respectful and reliable people"

"I love living in B&L properties. The facility at the fitness center I VERY nice and you even get free fitness classes.the trainer is very personable and guided you through your exercise and doesn’t rush you. Not only that but the apartments are up to date and have hard wood floors, an oven, a dish washer, and even an electric stove top."

"Terrible company to rent from and don’t trust the high reviews because you’re incentivized to give them. Melissa is extremely rude and unhelpful. Truly do not know how she still has a job with how she treats tenants. Don’t even bother trying to contact her half the time and the parking situation was a mess. Never heard of a college apartment making you repaint every single room unless heavy damages have occurred, but don’t worry, that’s a requirement and you’ll get charged basically a hundred dollars per room because of it. You will not get your full security deposit back (if you even get it at all) no matter how much you clean. There’s always an added fee for something somehow."

"I have lived with B&L Properties for 3 years at the same property. The location of the apartment was fantastic as were the amenities. My second and third years were great, as cable and internet were included with the apartment. Melissa was always extremely helpful with any questions and issues were resolved in a timely manner. Only thing that would have made it better is if parking was included but that was difficult being the apartment was in the center of town. People sometimes give B&L a bad rap but that is mostly from people looking to party without consequences. Keep it under control and do not destroy their property you will be just fine."
