"Absolutely delicious manaeesh! My favorite amongst all the other Lebanese bakeries that offer it. The flavors are fresh, and unmatched. We placed a large order for pick-up and they were nicely cut and packaged in large pizza boxes. Every piece was neat and the cheese and zaatar didn’t fall/peel off. That’s a big deal for me! Will for sure be a returning customer!"

"I just finished eating here about 20 mins ago. I'm not Lebanese, but I'm familiar with the culture enough to know what a good falafel tastes like, & can confidently say that the falafel sandwich here at Basil is the best I've had in the entire DMV area, & it all comes down to the freshness of the ingredients. Most other falafel sandwiches I've tried fall short in 1 of 3 departments: lack of crunch, taste, or enough herbs/pickled veggies & tahini sauce to bring it all together. Basil nails all 3 & has become my new go-to for all things Mediterranean in northern Virginia. Believe the 5-star reviews, they are not exaggerated. I cannot wait to try everything else on their menu."

"Just when I was just about to give up on customer service in the restaurant industry. I found this restaurant. They weren’t rated 5 stars for nothing! The food was AMAZING and ample in size! OMG! The portions were so generous that I had leftovers. Each bite was savory! It’s a blessing to find a restaurant that makes great healthy food. The customer service was phenomenal!!! I told my brother and sister that I found the best well kept secret because they’re BIG foodies and they didn’t even know about this place…and guess what?!? They LOVED it too!!!
