"We had a long-standing hidden water leak behind a kitchen wall. Wolfe construction promptly inspected the problem and gave us a fair estimate for the expected scope of work. After starting the job it became clear that the damage was more extensive than anticipated. They adjusted their plans accordingly and finished the entire job for a fair upcharge. "Unmet Commitments, Deceptive Communications, and Project Delays I hired Leo and Jamie Wolfe from Wolfe's General Construction for a renovation project based on their reported expertise. Regrettably, my experience has been a continual series of disappointments. Contractual Agreements: In late 2022, we entered into a binding agreement with explicit terms and expectations. Wolfe committed to an addition / renovation project that encompassed tasks like framing, electrical, and plumbing, among other details. Service Delivery: As of August 10, 2023, the work was less than 18% fulfilled while they demanded nearly 50% of the payments in prepaid milestones that did not align with the agreement. Notable examples include incomplete framing according to blueprints, unresolved structural issues, plumbing done wrong and illegally without a permit, missing materials I paid for like windows and doors, and numerous other tasks either delayed or not started. Misrepresentation: Wolfe's representation, as of late June 2023, was that the project was more than 50% complete. This was starkly contradictory to the tangible evidence. For instance, tasks such as electrical and plumbing rough-ins, which were supposed to be completed in February, were yet to be done. Communication: My concerns and requests for clarifications, such as the need for documentation about a falsified framing inspection used to extort additional out of sequence payments was met with either vague responses or outright silence. This lack of transparent communication has been incredibly frustrating and outright criminal. Financial Impact: To date, I've remitted a total of $57,000 for less than 24,000 worth of materials and services, much of which needs ripped out due to structural endangerment. Furthermore, there's a conspicuous inconsistency between Wolfe's claimed investment in the project and the tangible progress (or lack thereof) that now needs addressed legally. In conclusion, while my hope was for a fruitful partnership with Wolfe's General Construction LLC, the reality has been an experience marred by delays, poor communication, and unmet commitments. I urge potential clients to strongly consider my experience and undertake diligent research before engaging with this company. Read the lawsuits that were filed against him, review the court dockets and read the testimonies in his bankruptcy hearings."

"Hired Wolfe’s General Construction to complete 2 bathroom remodels. Work was done very poorly. Plumbing leaked in multiple sinks, shower, and bathtub even after numerous attempts to fix it. New floor tiles chipped because they did not lay anything down to protect the new flooring while construction continued. No P trap was installed in the shower drain, so terrible sewer gas smells came up from the drain. Shower was improperly pitched, so water sat on the floor. Shower fixtures were installed backwards (hot water was cold and cold water was hot). I gave them multiple opportunities to fix the issues they created, but things continued to get worse. They wanted to make it right, but did not have skilled laborers capable of doing the job. Very poor quality and lack of craftsmanship. I eventually fired them and sought legal council. I still have not been compensated for the damages. I hired a new contractor who gutted both bathrooms down to the studs again, and he said he has never seen such poor work done in his 30+ years in construction. Highly disappointed."
