"The first few times I rode with them, they were a great company. Always on time. Sometimes even early. Today is the 3rd time that I have had to call the company because my driver is so late that it's already past my appointment time and they still havent shown up. I'm very upset and I will ask my insurance to schedule me with a different company."

"No stars if possible. The person who picked me up was fine. But the man who drove me home was horrid. The first words he spoke to me was to ask me if I smoked.... I had just left chemotherapy. He then drove for about 25 miles with the window down on the driver's side to air the car out where the other passenger had smoked. He had to stop and get gas, letting the male passenger out to get more cigarettes. The two of them sat in the front, cursing and bragging about how many DUIs they had. The passenger then asked the driver where I lived and the driver told him. This same company was supposed to pick me up in the morning to take me to my chemo appointment but waited until almost 8 P.M. to call and say they didn't have a female driver to take me to chemo. In my opinion, they are a lousy company and has at least one unsafe driver on staff."

"HORRIBLE Half an hour late picking my aunt up for the doc. Appt and then never shown up to pick her back up and all their phone lines stayed busy when she tried to reach them while she waited to be picked up for over 2 hours. She has breathing issues so I had to leave work to pick her up."

"I'd give no stars if it was a option. I've scheduled transportation through my insurance 5 times now, all were through Checker. First they tell you to be ready a full hour before your appointment. 4 out of 5 times I have sat and waited for over a hour for someone to show up. I've had to call back 3 times each time to see where the hell my driver was. Just YESTERDAY I was scheduled to be picked up at 1:30pm. I waited on hold about 10 minutes and they told me the van broke down and they would be there 2:10 the latest. I waited outside in the freezing cold until 2:25 to which a woman named Missy picked me up. No sense of urgency as I was 25 minutes late to my appointment. She even picked up another woman and dropped her off FIRST! She took 40 out to St. Clairsville and drove slow. She told me during the ride that the dispatcher made too many appointments with not enough drivers. It gets better. I also had it scheduled that I go to the pharmacy right across the street and that I would be picked up there. NOPE. There was already a van sitting by my doctors. I had to run across the street to which a man named Dave was there to pick me up, the first thing he said was that he had never had a hot redhead in his vehicle before. He also made sexual comments about my body. I was extremely uncomfortable but that was my only way home. He drove slow, kept looking over at me and swerving into other lanes. When he stopped at my home he kept talking asking if he could "keep me". I will never ride with Checker again, worst transportation company I have ever known. If you're a very punctual person do not book with them. Ask your insurance for a different company."

"Have had the same appointment time scheduled for 9 weeks in a row without any issues until this week when Checker Transportation was scheduled as my ride. The driver showed up 20 minutes ahead of schedule and called my phone while I was in the bathroom getting ready for my appointment. When I didn't answer, he waited 10 minutes (still 10 minutes early for my pickup time) and then left without attempting to call again. When I called exactly at my pickup time asking about my ride, the representative I spoke to (Dave) was extremely unprofessional and cared very little about my need to get to my appointment, which I had to reschedule at massive inconvenience. I've filed a formal complaint against them and have asked my insurance to no longer schedule rides for me through this company."
