Sunset West Apartments

"Living here is...alright. Not the greatest by any means. If you decide to move in, be prepared to buy plenty of lamps. There is no ceiling lighting. Theres also no central heat or air (They have baseboard heaters and you have to buy a window unit for AC. ) And now a new issue has cropped up. Apparently they are locking the building with your mail box in it. This is something that has just started happening unless it is a prank being pulled by someone who lives here. I can understand needing to be secure, but locking people out so they cant get their mail? This also blocks off one of the laundry rooms."

"I lived at sunset west for a little over 4 years. When things were broken maintenance fixed it with in a decent time frame. Management was very easy to work with when things came up. When my accross neighbors harrassed my family especially my young son. Management helped me to navigate the very serious issue. Also not to mention the manager at sunset west held a Christmas gift charity to help the residents and locals outside of sunset west every year for christmas. Communication was always very good. Sometimes the parking lot during heavy snows was difficult to navigate. But we do live in north eastern ohio, so sometimes unavoidable. Especially when you try and leave for work at 5 am. I would definitely recommend living there, but you have to have the mind set that its apartment living. The only reason I moved is because I wanted something on the first floor and I wanted a backyard."

"Management is constantly not here and when they are they are too busy to help. I have never been in a place with such disregard for human decency and constantly harassing good paying tenants. I would never suggest living here. There are plenty of better places to live. Thank God I found one. You can take my review for what you like but please keep in mind some reviews are by Management, such as one of the 5 star reviews, and friends of management on these sort of reviews. Please if you care about your sanity and want honest reviews research the reviews and who does them."

"The landlord is hardly there and when she is, she has some excuse of why she can't be seen. I would not suggest my family or anyone else to live here. You will probably get harassed and bullied by other tenants plus the landlord. They are not willing to help. They also let others get away with alit more than others. If your looking for a place then I suggest to look into the many other places out there that are better, kinder, cleaner. A place where you can call home."
