"If they don't have it, no one will. When the local home center big box store is falling short with inventory issues, Colonial Electric will come through for you. Their prices are ALWAYS better than the home center, they guys at the counter are super friendly and will go out of their way to accommodate you. They searched for days for a hard-to-find circuit breaker for me and eventually found it and called me back to order it. I thought that was excellent service."

"This company bought out a supply house in Allentown, PA that I have used for about 30 years. In spite of the promises they made, once the buy out was complete they discontinued some of the products I had come to rely on, raised prices, and more importantly customer service went from being really good to bad. They eliminated staff which negatively affected the quality of service. One area of real concern for me is they do not give you the date on which they credit your monthly payment to your account. So I received a finance charge for a payment I made that they claimed was late but I have no idea how late they are claiming the payment was or if it was really late at all. I just have to take their word for it. In my opinion this is not being honest. It has been 2 years since I left the above review & in that time they did not resolve the issues as they promised in their response. The response they left was apparently for the readers of this review & not for me. They did nothing to resolve the issues. This company bought Lighting Fixture & Supply, then cut staff, raised prices, dropped product lines, & hit a loyal customer with a finance charge to maximize profits."
