""Old Bukhara delivers an authentic Uzbeki culinary experience that left me astounded. The beef fried dumplings were a highlight - a divine starter offering an explosion of flavors, complemented by an array of delightful sauces. The main course, a meat and rice dish, struck a perfect balance between salty, savory, and a hint of sweetness from the carrots and squash. It was a harmonious blend that delighted my taste buds with every forkful. However, the real star was the Kofta - served with fresh bread and accompanied by flavorful taziki sauce, it redefined juiciness. The Kofta was succulent, leaving an impression that resonates long after the meal." I would highly recommend this place for to anyone looking for authentic food! The restaurant itself is a quaint and cozy space, adorned with charming decorations. The intimate size adds to its allure. The service, notably from Sam, was exceptional - attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. He took the time out to explain all the dishes and making the best recommendations! Service was very quick and everything came out fresh and hot!"
"It’s a real gem in the middle of New Jersey! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and absolutely delicious Uzbek cuisine! I’ve never seen such a big portions for the prices they have. Moreover, it’s really a great quality of the food and authentic taste. I don’t know how they managed to do so, but hand down, it was just the best place around to dine in. Excellent job and Katta Rahmat!"
"I got the Pumpkin Samsa and Sofi Pilov. The Samsa balanced well with the Pilov but keep in mind that its a single piece for the price Would highly encourage Sofi Pilov, which is very simple but unique and tasty with a good serving size."
"Bukhara is an ancient City in Uzbekistan and if you like Eastern European food you will love it. Every dish we tried was perfection from soup to appetizer to desert. The service was outstanding. The waiter’s recommendation were spot on. We can’t wait to return soon. It is a small restaurant, very nice atmosphere, I would suggest to make reservation for a group larger than 4. Of course you can order take out food."
"I had the pleasure of visiting this place for the second time with my family, and we loved everything about it. The food was incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere inside was nice and quiet. The service was also very efficient, ensuring that our meals were served promptly. We decided to explore some new items from the menu, such as the Varkhasha salad and Lagman. We were pleasantly surprised as these dishes surpassed our expectations. Additionally, we couldn't resist trying the Sofi Plov, Lamb kebab, and Samsa, which were all equally delicious. Having had such a wonderful experience, we are already looking forward to visiting this place more often."
