"Once they take your money they forget about you. Ordered building blocks for a retaining wall back on May 19th. We were told that the caps for the wall would take a week to come in. Here we are in July and still nothing. No calls from the company and everytime we call it's just excuses from them and they say they'll call back but never do. Last week we were told they were receiving 5 truck loads of building block material that would contain our caps. This week they won't admit to that statement. I can tell you, because they gave our caps to one of their regular landscaper contractors they deal with. The small homeowner project means nothing to them. Do yourself a favor and go to Reuther in Succasunna or Meier Stone in Flanders. Even better. My husband called the distributor directly who told him they haven't sold the color block we bought from Sparta Block in a year. So, basically, Sparta Block outright lied to us by saying they could get us the matching caps to the block we bought from them in a week. They should have known they were unable to and instead sold us a product leaving us unable to complete the retaining wall. Now they'll have to answer to the BBB."

"As a contractor in new to the game I was a little hesitant about pricing at a job but when I called them and Bill answer the phone any anxiety and pressure from the estimate was relieved he helped me step-by-step gave me a list of pricing gave me different prices tried to give me the best pricing and then gave me a details email and quote I would say some of the best customer service that I've ever gotten and was patient with the fact that I could barely figure out how to measure retaining wall thank you Bill and God bless you one of the few good ones"

"Nice selection. Bought pavers to do my own patio. Pavers came on the day I requested just not all of them. I called, they told me they come in 2 days. They never came, called again finally came the next day. I told them the square footage I needed and let them calculate the qp and sand. Well got waaayyy to much qp and little amount of sand."
