"I'm looking for a shopping cart and not having any luck Collingswood hardware hasn't seen any in awhile"
"MOST Hardware Stores make dupe keys with the key ON YOUR KEYRING. Not these guys! And they don't even have the decency to say "Okay, I am just gonna take the key off your ring here." Then, you check out, and they say NOTHING ABOUT THE ORIGINAL KEY. So I later call about the missing key. (Thank goodness the dupe worked so I could run home between stops.) I say, "Most times I get keys they keep 'em on the ring!" NO, he says. Like he was there! LOL. And I thought Joe was THE NICE ONE. NOPE! LOL BYE! If you're looking for a delightful, friendly hardware store, go to Westmont Hardware instead. UPDATE: 8.1.23: At Colls Hardware, the customer is always wrong. Or I am, at least, always WRONG. I read their response to my "key complaint." Sure, I was distracted. BUT ALSO, they work behind a large sheet of Plexglass. Yes, they took my keys with lightning speed and duped the one, then handed my keys back to me. I did not realize they removed the key! Also, my glasses are super-old rite now cause my newer ones broke. Yeah, my fault I automatically dropped my keys into my handbag, not realizing they had removed my key for duplication. BTW, Westmont Hardware does NOT do it that way, I asked. They keep keys on their rings and put your new keys in a little plastic bag. (I will go there next time.) While they were duplicating my key. I was browsing to see WHAT ELSE I MIGHT BUY, (FORGIVE ME. LOL) Don't let them mislead you with their comment about "waiting around for me." I came back ASAP, maybe 5:05, 5:10pm. The jerk at the front was working on a deal with a commercial customer. The trades must be their bread and butter, not my ten-dollar order. The attitude is so palpable. You shoulda been there when I returned something. "May I return this?" DEPENDS WHEN YOU BOUGHT IT! "How about yesterday?" I said, as I handed him the receipt. OKAY, THEN. Rough. Jerks. Little concern for customers. Or maybe it's because I'm a woman?"
"I needed window parts, they took photos of the parts needed and ordered them online arrived in 7-8 days. Saved me thousands"
"I have dealt with this place twice. The first time was a less than positive experience. Three years later, upon them being recommended for a window repair, I sucked up my negative experience and called them. The man who answered the phone again was rude, abrasive, dismissive, and after all of that began yelling at me. Never say never, hence I say, I will not ever deal with this company again and look forward to their demise."
"Every neighborhood in every town needs a local hardware store like this. This place has competitive prices and a unique selection. Just the right stuff, no extras..... exactly what you need. Not to mention the friendly face behind the counter. Stop in to enjoy something that is disappearing quickly in our modern world, a small town store locally owned and operated."
