"For the past several years, I have relied on Eva's competency in doing my taxes. She takes her time and is completely thorough. Eva is always well-versed in tax law changes. Knowing that Eva is doing my taxes allows me to sleep well at night. Thank you, Alicea & Roman Associates!"
"Alicea is the best. She has been doing my taxes for 30 years. Always works hard with putting us infront of herself."
"Fast and very professional service from experts in the industry. I would certainly recommend Alicea & Roman Associates to anyone looking for CPAs for business or personal services. Schedule your appointment today."
"I had a set an appointment here for my wife and I to do our taxes. We just got married last year and this was the first time either of us had filed taxes whIle married, so we thought it would be a good idea to sit down with someone to make sure we did it right. We set our appointment over a month ago, and called this morning to confirm that we were coming, and we even called to let them know we were running 5-10 minutes late. After getting there 10 minutes late as we informed them we would be, we then checked in with the receptionist who informed us that our tax person would be with us shortly. As we sat down waiting the minutes started to tick by, 5 minutes, then 10 minutes, then 15 minutes....our appointment was at 11:30AM, it's now 11:55AM and no one has came out or apologized that's it's taken so long or told us someone will be out soon. Granted we were 10 minutes late ourselves but we let them know ahead of time, and this appointment was on the calendar for a month so there is no reason that we should be waiting 30 minutes in the waiting area for the appointment to start...finally because it was apparent nobody seemed to notice or care that we were waiting for so long, I got up and asked the receptionist "if she could ask our tax consultant if they could come to see us now because now we're almost 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment was supposed to start, and I don't understand why I set an appointment a month in advance if I was just going to be waiting for this long?" Clearly annoyed the receptionist with a rude tone responded: "she's busy, but I'll speak with her again, please sit down." So after this she goes to speak with the tax consultant and comes back and says okay she's ready for you now, she didn't come back and bring us back to her office herself, and the receptionist didn't walk us back or even point us in the direction of where her office was. Amazed, I asked "uh are you going to point us to which office is hers or should we just guess?" And the receptionist without getting up from her seat points with a sarcastic smile on her face in the general direction of her office. Finally 30 minutes after our scheduled appointment time, the consultant does not acknowledge or apologize for the fact that we were just seeing her now or give any explanation, just greets us and asks how we're doing as if nothing happened. So I said, "well we're not doing too good to be honest with you because we had scheduled this appointment a month in advance for 11:30AM and it's now 12PM, granted we were 10 minutes late but we called ahead to let you know that we would be running a little late, so even with that you should have been ready for us within 5 minutes not 20 minutes." And her response was "I'm sorry I was working on something, and it's tax season so we're very busy" I said " I understand you're busy and it's tax season, but that's the whole reason why we set an appointment so that we have time set aside to get this done, and took a half day off of work to come in and see you, do you see anything wrong with the fact that you continued working on other things during the time you were supposed to be meeting with us?" And to my amazement she said "No, I don't see anything wrong with that". So at this point there was nothing left to be said, and reasoning with her further would have been an exercise in futility especially because by her body language she seemed to be over the idea of meeting with us (if she wasn't already before we walked in the door) so I said "okay then there is nothing else for us to discuss and I don't feel comfortable giving you my business." So with that my wife and I left, having completely wasted our time without so much as a sincere apology or acknowledgement for the terrible and unprofessional service we received. My recommendation is to find another accountant who will actually value your time."
"I have been going to Eva for well over 20 years and I've watched her business continue to grow immensely. The professionalism and accuracy has always been a top priority with their clients. I ;have recommended them to a number of family members and they are also impressed with the service Alicea and Roman extends to their clients. Thanks for your continued service in doing my taxes."
