"W purchased our country house in the Poconos during the height of COVID. There was so much to fix and repair on our 110 year old house and so difficult during that period. This year we thought we were just going to replace our 45 year old kitchen floor and back splash to freshen up our tired and outdated kitchen. We contacted Magda and Jack, the owners of Shine Hill Stone, and after a call, a design meeting at their shop, and a meeting at our house, Magda and Jack came back to us with a fabulous proposal and design rendering and we decided to do a gut kitchen renovation! Yes, it was much more than we original planned but Magda and Jack were meticulous about working within our budget, and helped us with every decision, from countertops, to cabinets, pendant lights, paints, appliances and even island stools. Their level of detail, creativity and goal of finishing within the 4 week timeframe was nothing short of genius. They ripped out our crooked walls down to the studs, and our poorly leveled floors down to the original cement, in order to make certain the new installations fit perfectly. We left for Christmas vacation and never came back to the house until it was completed and ready for the grand reveal! Magda sent us pictures and videos along the way and kept us informed of any unexpected challenges. They even saved us from a devastating flood when our downstairs family room was taking in water from the relentless snow and rainstorms that ravaged the Poconos in mid-January. I almost cried when I came in to see the gorgeous finished product. Forget any other kitchen and bath companies you are considering if you have a new, old or something in between home in the Poconos. I want to buy another house just so I can hire Shine Hill Stone again."

"Shine Hill Stone is one of, if not the best option, for new or existing construction or remodel. Magdalena has an instinctive and meticulous eye for design and will assist you in finding to the most current design and configuration to make the most of your space. We had two small bathrooms, one much smaller than the next, which made it very challenging to find the most suitable configurations. The final design for both bathrooms couldn’t have been better. Magdalena is also an active contributor to the physical renovation. Jack is a true tradesman and ideally gives the meaning to “Jack of all Trades”. His ability to transform these areas into the beautiful bathrooms they are today was truly magical. Of course, we ran into a few bumps along the way, which is always the case when you do renovations. Jack was able to make the changes and/or modifications needed to make it work (most instances improving the original design). He was the first to admit how challenging it was due to the confined space he had to work with but that didn’t stop him from forging ahead until it was perfect. They took all of the precautions to protect adjacent areas and the route in and out of the house to limit the spread of dust and debris as much as possible. "After getting quotes from a dozen or so other stone fabricators, we arrived at Shine Hill Stone in search of the right quartz countertop. Thank God we did! Working with Magdalena at their showroom just outside Mount Pocono was refreshing. She intuitively understood our vision & showed us a magnificent slab she had on site. As we sketched up plans based on my measurements, Jack foresaw cutting the stones so that we could use remnants for the backsplash. Because we were already buying the slab, we’d actually save significant money by not needing to tile it. The following week they took laser measurements in our kitchen, & returned a couple days later to remove & discard the old Formica, replacing it with that gorgeous quartz slab. The cuts were perfect but Jack remeasured for the backsplash. A couple days later they were back to install it. After only days, the job was complete & our kitchen is stunning thanks to Shine Hill Stone! Their design & technical skills are unmatched. They saved us a bundle & delivered an incredible product in just days. We are so grateful, Magdalena & Jack!"
