"*Please note that this review is only in regards to the junior associate that I used here. I called in last year and spoke with a gentleman that wound up being one of the partners here. He seemed very knowledgeable, and was very patient and understanding while I explained my situation. My situation is/was - I am going to be expanding into a few business ventures in the upcoming years, so I wanted to find a good accountant now in the hopes of building a relationship. For now, I'm just filing simple 1040 returns. The gentleman put me in touch with one of his junior associates, and that is where things went downhill. I can't say this with certainty, but while I was there the junior associate looked like he was basically pretending to look up stuff for me in an effort to keep me there longer. Long story short, got my taxes done and received an invoice for way more than what had been discussed. When I spoke with the junior associate, he mentioned a few fees that he had never discussed with me initially, and some preposterous argument about the time/hourly wage. If you need to use an accountant, I would recommend going for one of the higher level accountants here, and definitely discuss all of the fees associated."
