"I purchased 800 BF of white oak about 3 years ago from Cornish Lumber. They asked me what I was doing and I told them the widths I needed. Keep in mind rough lumber is relatively random in width. What they sold me was either close to width or close to double width. I had nothing at 1.5 times width, which kept the waste minimal. I bought and paid for prime and I got prime. I am happy."
