Reviews of Eastern Gateway Community College
"Tutoring is nonexistent, and unfortunately they don’t offer in person classes at this time for some majors"
"Eastern Gateway was an amazing place for me. After losing a job and not knowing what I should do I was thankfully to be able to take advantage of the Gateway Grant! This allowed me to attend college with no out of pocket expense. The thought of going back to school after being out for 20 plus years was scary but both the online and in seat instructors were great and taught me in a way that that I was able to learn. Thank you Gators for the second chance."
"Tried enrolling to the ADN program here. The advisor was less than helpful. Almost like she is discouraging people to come here. I finally got frustrated with her and hung up after 1 minute. I can't trust someone who is too stupid to tell me what classes I need and/or what my first step in enrolling is. Fortget that fact that I was going to spend like 40k in tuition, at least."
"This was the best times of my college career. I went to Kent State after graduating from EG, and I miss EG. The campus is really small, the classrooms are small. The tuition was cheap. It was such an interesting time in my life and I do miss it. I never really had a bad instructor, always great. I got my Associates in IT from here, and man, good times. The parking is eh, and the location is eh. Not much to do, there used to be a nice coffee shop that was next door, so on a nice day you can go to the coffee shop and get a cup of coffee between classes for like a buck."
"Very compassionate teaching staff. The most affordable way to get your first 2 years of college. Savings can be more than $15,000 per year over D3 schools. Paying back expensive loans from other schools will stay with you for 10 years after you graduate."
