"Last year, Mr. Lachman filed my taxes incorrectly, which caused me to receive a letter from the IRS that required me to pay back an overpayment with interest. I understand that mistakes happen, and that's what the "peace of mind" insurance is for. But what's unacceptable was the lack of follow-up afterward to process the claim to process my peace of mind claim. I contacted Lachman and H&R block when I received the letter from the IRS in August. I followed up again every month until I finally heard back from him in November. Once he got back, he wasn't much help when it came time to process my "Peace of mind" claim, and I had to call H&R block directly to process it then. The claim was rejected by H&R block, and my interest still needs to be paid back."
