"Here's the secret to amicis... They make homemade donuts. Not only do they give you the donut but they give you the donut hole as well.. Their entrees are phenomenal..and the service is kind and fast. Not to mention the beautiful view of downtown and it's surrounding areas."

The restaurants in Johnstown, Altoona and in between, leave a lot to be desired. We are very happy to have tried Amici's as everything was great! The service and the food! I personally recommend the Calamari....cooked perfectly, not "rubbery". Everything about our experience was very good."

"better off going across the street to moose first, fill up on both drink and food then go to Amici's. 3 scallops with lettuce, $ 10.95, maybe the Pope had blessed them, watered down Jack Daniels. "My husband and I went to Amici's for the first time for our 11 year anniversary last weekend and were very impressed. Everything....and I mean everything, was great! We had salads with the lemon champagne viniagrette, which was amazing, he had the sausage penne and I had the mahi mahi. Even the oil for the bread was amazing! We also had the Bellini-tini and creme' brule beer - both very, very good! And our Server, James A. was GREAT!!! Thank you, Amici's for making our anniversary dinner one to remember! :-)"
