"Atmosphere was great. Love the ascetic of the restaurant. Service was great. We were seated immediately, the waitress was attentive and wrote us a cute happy holidays note on the receipt. Food was good. I got the Reuben, mozzarella sticks and fries. I would give all the food a 5 minus the fries. They were average. I would give the fries a 3. My wife had the cheeseburger. I had a couple of bites. Taste was great but it was really greasy so I give it a 4. All round great place to eat."
"Disgusting! Burned eggs, one slice of toast sausage, which is not breakfast sausage. Dripping with grease the eggs & sausage. More than what should be normal or acceptable. Frozen ice, cold diced potatoes."
"Went after a Lions game with my two boys. Last time I was here was in college... 20 years ago. We ordered the cheese burger and grilled cheese for the kids. Just one word. SALTY. Please ease off on the salt. I had to take a sip of water after every bite because the food was so salty. Other than that, it's the casual college Diner type atmosphere (I actually wanted to go to the College Diner which apparently closed several years ago) and the service was great."
"We arrived when the restaurant was slammed and our party of six was seated almost immediately. Service was excellent especially considering the full restaurant. For an appetizer we had the baked pizza dip. It is loaded with flavor and something I’ve never seen before. The Pulled Corned Beef Reuben was an amazing sandwich and the warm chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream was a delicious end to the meal and definitely big enough for sharing."
"I had never been to State College before, so this was quite an experience. We didn’t have a long wait and the food was amazing. Price wasn’t too bad either. I had the turkey avocado wrap which was insanely good. My son had corned beef hash and eggs. Both were excellent. Definitely recommend this place, which is a true PSU staple."
