"We went here on Christmas Eve to watch "Elf". There were two theaters showing the movie at the same time. The one theater was a generic movie theater but the 2nd one was a HUGE auditorium. It felt like we were watching the movie during the 1960s. It was AMAZING! My family and I were already planning our next movie there when we left the theater."

"Beautiful theater in downtown Ambler. Great restaurants and bars/breweries very close by as well as a Rita’s right next door. The theater itself is very well kept with an “old Hollywood” vibe throughout. The auditoriums are stadium but still somehow very vintage feeling. The sound and picture are great in each auditorium I’ve visited, and the staff is great as well. Definitely give Ambler Theater and its sister theater the Hiway in Jenkintown some business and see a movie the old fashioned way."

"Absolutely gorgeous old school theater! It’s spacious, clean with cool 20s architecture!! The snack stand is also old school, with great popcorn (with butter that actually tastes like butter) sodas and other bottled sodas that you don’t find at other theaters. The seats are also old school but very comfy. The employees are nice, quick and efficient. Since the theater is in the middle of town, it doesn’t have a dedicated parking lot, but there is plenty of parking at a public parking lot about 500 feet away. We had a great time and will definitely be back!!"
