"Shah Group is absolutely incompetent, negligent and awful. Unfortunately, they dominate Charles and St. Mary's county but avoid the Shah Group at all costs. I wouldn't even go there for low-level stuff. They just run up your tab and talk down you instead of listening which is why I suffered unnecessarily. Dionne Lucas doesn't belong in medicine. To quote a co-worker of Dionne's, she has way too much attitude for someone that isn't even doctor. Same goes for Christine Ridpath CRNP. Dr. Modi is vile I nearly lost my pancreas because of her negligence and incompetence. She accused me of lying about my glucose levels and told me we greedy Americans take food and money for granted because her people in India don't have it so good. I'm a Democrat but I'll be the first to say, don't like here go back to where you came from. I worked at the World Bank and saw this type of cultural superiority complex many times. Those with any level of status look down on others particularly their own. My response to her was how did you get a medical degree considering you can't put 2 + 2 together. I told her I'd have them send my pancreas to her so she doesn't forget that it took a nurse practitioner to figure what was wrong when she failed. Dr. Katri, to be honest is a prick and doesn't listen. All of my problems were because he brushed me off, well between him and Dr. Modi. Once I fired them I saw a nurse practitioner at a different practice and she figured out what was wrong with me in less than 2 minutes. The Waldorf location is the absolute worst overall. The front office staff for Dr. Modi and Dionne Lucas are the worst. As far as the doctors go they suck! I was on about 8 different medications because all they did was ignore me and my symptoms. At times I had to take 2 to 3 medications to curb the side effects of the other. And, Dr. M Smith is totally worthless. There are some very amazing people though but the bad ruin it for the good. The lady that takes blood work on the lower level in Waldorf is an angel. She is fantastic! Same goes to the lady that does Echocardiograms in Dr. Jamani's office. The California, MD location that has the Urgent Care near the Kohls shopping center is just as bad. The front office staff and people who make appointments are wonderful however. CRNP Christine Ridpath is condescending, unprofessional and incompetent. She doesn't have what it takes to be in the health care industry. For the last 3 days I have gotten zero response and have had to guess at what medical decisions to make. I'm done with these people. I will not give them another dime!"
"I agree with the others, you are not going to get a quick appointment, you are not going to get a call back, If the doctor say, "if this doesn't work, just call us back and ill change the prescription", that wont happen. I'm just guessing, but it feels like there has been an effort to increase the profitable procedures to pay for the new building, lots of nuclear stress test being done. It was "real important" that I get a nuclear stress test done, but not important to call me and give me the results."
"I’ve been going to the doctors office since I was a child but the fat past two times that I’ve had contact with any receptionist it has been unclear and quite frankly very rude service when you’re crying to call and find out just general information about your health recently I got some x-rays done and called about the status first time they told me they did not receive them call back after I confirm that they received them and then the lady was very rude and wanted to rush me off the phone. Hopefully these matters can be resolved in before you guys move into your new building it be a shame to carry this negative attitude into a new environment"
"Extremely rude staff, ordered blood work labs for me and sent it to a doctor in New Jersey I hadn’t seen in MONTHS and when I called to ask if there was a mix up the woman who I was speaking with was very disrespectful and hung up (turns out there was a mix up and they had to take my blood again). Took 2 months to get a PA # for my MRI, and I expressed to my doctor how much pain I was in and told him I was very upset and hurting and i am suicidal because of that and the fact he isn’t helping and he LAUGHED. I have 1 more follow up appointment and then will never come back here!!!"
"Its no point in commenting, one star is being very generous. I bet this comment will never reach the public that's how bad their services are when you call or visit. Its outrageous how you try to express your opinion or your concerns about your own personal health, only to hear it floating throughout the office, nothing is confidential. The rudeness runs very deep in those doctors offices from the doctor to the receptionist. Their arrogance, I wrote a complaint about Ms. Dionne Lucas, my current doctor read off a letter of her dismissing me, yet it was never reported or entered in the system that I requested another doctor and no longer want her or her assistant treating me. Now, I have no intention on returning because of their negligence in handling my medicine, they had the receptionist pick out sample drugs off the shelf because she couldn't find what she was instructed to give me. The doctor supported the receptionist's decision. Afterwhich, somebody name Kiley curse me out on the phone when I days later to report the extreme side effects of the medicine prescribe by the receptionist and then they apologize for the mix-up and told me to go to the hospital for immediate care because the doctor was booked. I'll never go back to that mad-house and its my prayer they get caught before they actually kill someone."
