"Of the last year I have been studying here at The Philadelphia Acting Studio, our mentor and acting coach Bernard has truly done wonderful things for my classmates and I. I signed up for his free trial class just a little over a year ago without having any prior experiences, but I was eager to see what I could do. "Coming from no acting experience or knowledge whatsoever, I joined Bernard's class back in July of 2022. I was hesitant on joining, not knowing if it would be a good fit for me. I took the trial class online and it interested me enough to sign up for the classes. At the time it was only through Zoom due to COVID, but we eventually were able to do in-person classes. Bernard's class helped me get out of my shell and showed me that I am capable of performing higher than my expected potential. From meeting kind-hearted classmates on a similar journey as mine, to working on different sets and understanding the prospective from other actors along with the film crew, I was able to gain knowledge I never had before. Here you'll learn how to get into the mindset of being a committed actor, mentally and physically; practicing to control your thoughts and working on performances, whether it be through a self-tape, in person, with a scene partner, with or without a script in hand.
