"Dont go here ! And definitely don't bring your kids here. I have been here once or twice for myself. First time wasnt thrilled with the wait time or the care. Second time the Doctor i saw was amazing and helped me with my issues , wait time was crazy but worth it to get that degree of care. Today.... took my 10 yr old son in and the front desk girl was nice and they got us back quickly but once we got in a room the wait and lack of care was astounding. The doctor barely looked at my son and told us he would get something for the pain. After almost an hour of waiting i began to ask for help as i can hear the staff joking and talking. They dismissed me, i waited a bit longer and decided it was time to leave and go to a different hospital The Doctor tried to explain himself and why they were so bad at caring for a patient when they werent busy at all. And once I started getting aggravated, they actually had the nerve to call security which was when things got even worse. We were escorted out by security. After not receiving any care for almost 2 hours, we went over to Geisinger CMC and was treated and left the hospital in less than an hour with amazing care. Definitely. Do not go to this Lehigh Valley emergency room, especially with your children. Most of the doctors there don't seem to care and Definitely take their sweet time with the most simplest of tasks."

"Wife was sent home with a brain aneurysm. Two days later, we waited 16 hours at ER to be transported by ambulance to Lehigh in Allentown! Needed immediate brain surgery! It should be Express Care, not an ER! She is so lucky it didn’t rupture! I can’t even say the staff was particularly professional."

"My wife just recently had surgery and stayed for a few days. Surgery teams were great, hospital was great and most if the nurses were awesome. Now the problem there was a nurse who took it upon herself to refuse my wife her pain meds that were ordered by the surgeon. The first night after surgery she started this by saying well pain mgmt needs to start and you can't have these meds. ( the order was every 4 hrs for one and the other was every 3. Doctors orders!) This nurse would make my wife go 6 hours or more between meds even after another physician who was in the room told her you have to give her the meds it's prn. I won't say the nurses name here but do know we are reporting her to the hospital as well as the state health dept. However a big kudos to nurses Lindsey and Tracy for all the hardwork you ladies do."

"i had 4 weeks of physical therapy on my knee, I had no injury but started jogging after a few year of biking. The staff in pt are the best kindest people i have ever met. I was treated better here than any place in pa. The doctors here care, the nurses care. all the staff are good great people. The same people here were and are as great as the staff who helped us recover after 911."

"Just to give you an idea. We arrived at 4:30 on a Saturday. I was sick for 3 days prior and vomiting. Couldn't keep water down, let alone my normal prescription medication. Normally, it wouldn't be too long of a wait, but not today. I should have seen this coming because there were people arguing with staff about how they were there for so long. I was in the waiting room for 6 hours. After about 4 hours, I started shaking uncontrollably. When my wife asked the lady in admissions, she said she had no control of anything. Then, as the other medical staff came in. She was saying how people kept bothering her about how long it was taking. Asking the staff if they were going to start asking her 10,000 times how long it was going to be. As they sat there joking and laughing within 20 feet of everyone. Then they finally take me back. As I get in my room, they ask me what is wrong. I told them I had a migraine for 3 days and was vomiting uncontrollably. The doctor ordered some migraine meds and some liquids and walked out. So my nurse, I thought, was OK. Then he started administering one of my meds in my iv. I started having a reaction, and he ran out of the room. I felt insanely uncomfortable like I wanted to rip my skin off. After this happened, no one came into my room for 20 minutes. It took about 15 minutes for it to fully get in my system, and I passed out. When I came to, there still wasn't anyone in there. So I pushed the call button for the nurse, and it took about another 10 minutes until he came in. He acted like nothing had happened. In the meantime, they took me for my cat scan around 10, and that was a few minutes and was taken back to my room. There, I sat until 11:20 until the doctor came back in to tell me that my cat scan was OK and said she was going to get my discharge papers. So she left and never came back at all. I pushed the button again for the nurse at 12:25 to see what was going on. He comes in and says I should go get your discharge papers. Then we had to wait another 10 minutes for that. I live less than 10 minutes from the hospital, and I didn't get home until almost 1 in the morning. Never again, I'm still having the same symptoms, and nothing was done. I would recommend no one to go here. Someone will die in that waiting room guaranteed. So if you think you're having some kind of serious emergency. Do not go here. You Will Die!"
