"Right now I'm still sitting in the ER waiting for my husband to be treated. It's been 11 + hours since we came in. They placed a catheter in him at 930pm. It's now 9am and finally someone checked on him. Completely UNACCEPTABLE! I am beyond furious. Disgusted with Geisinger."

"Terrible er wait. sat there for 8 hours (still waiting) and received no testing for what I came for. Other patients complained about the same thing. One patient sat here for 8 plus hours just to have her xray read. They parked a man in a wheelchair vomiting into a sick bag directly in front of everyone and left him there. A mother brought her child as directed by the child’s pediatrician due to multiple seizures and the child still sat in the waiting room without going back to be seen after hours of waiting. I could give more examples but I’m sure you get the picture. This place Is run terrible."

"Absolutely horrible experience. As someone who had cancer and has health issues I sat in the waiting room for over 13 hours. Sat with a man who was sent by his oncologist during active chemo and he was in there longer then me. Another woman was crying with her son because he hadn't been seen and was sent by pediatrician with suspected acute appendicitis. Elderly people being wheeled back to waiting room with oxygen tanks and left there for hours. I could go on. I am not sure what is causing these issues but it is scary to know you could be left in the waiting room to literally die. If I ever have another medical emergency and I can physically make it out of the area I will. Coming to this er could literally cost you your life"

"My wife was brought in by ambulance. Sick to the stomach and involuntary convulsions ( core and legs) So much movement that they had difficulty getting a good EKG and blood pressure. Once they got that quick high dollar, billable task done they stuck us back out into the waiting room for another 4 hours and counting."

"I went to the breast care and imaging center today 9/7/23. I must say that Marie was phenomenal. She is friendly, caring, thoughtful and intuitive. She went above and beyond to ensure my visit was quick and painless. The rest of the staff were amazing too. Tammy was patient and friendly during our interaction but Marie really stood out to me as her whole presence was graceful and welcoming. Thank you to the staff at the Breast Care & Imaging Center at GWV"
