"Only go to this Infusion center if you have cancer and have MONEY if you don't they will treat you lower than dirt!! Never use Capital Oncology and Hematology Associates on 2101 Medical Park Drive, Suite 200 Silver Spring, MD 20902 if you don't have fully stocked bank account or insurance that is easy to file and you have cancer. First problem my fiancee has a terminal form of MS and because its not cancer they treated her like DIRT, on more than one occasion she had waited over three hours to get her vital medicine infusion with patients who came in later be treated before her and almost every time the RNs couldn't even find her veins or access her medi-port till stabbing her way to many times. Then they lumped her with other MS patients on a Saturday a month with a very sweet RN handling it ALL ALONE and she was had a terminal illness herself. The billing department at Capital Oncology and Hematology Associates are MONSTERS!!! My fiancee is DYING and they would not properly bill her secondary insurance and just said it wasn't covered but after I told them I had called her secondary insurance telling them the insurer said that if they filled the paper work right it would be paid 100%. They said the will only accept full payment of the 4,4oo+ bill just for their meager services. I tried to work out a payment system as we are very very poor and without the medicine her illness would progress rapidly. They had the gall to tell me "Unless payment is made in FULL, she can DIE for all we care." What kind of medical facility that deals with terminal people tells someone that on the phone?! Nitsa was supposed to get her infusion of Feb. 12th and didn't get it to March 4th. Her health has badly declined to the point her very busy neurologist's assistant was speechless for a moment when I told on the 15th and she has been having a set of emergency steroid treatments that will last three days. On top of all that, they had the NERVE to up her bill by over two thousand more dollars to her bill and never contacted us once after the message they left that caused all this."
