"Dr. Subramanian is an excellent physician in many aspects. He took great care of my brother-in-law after he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. He was very responsive in terms of updating our family with treatment options and his medical condition. Additionally, he took our family member as his own during treatment and was very compassionate and understanding during our difficult time. He also took time to coordinate care with other doctors and caregivers, both in the hospital and his clinic. I would recommend Dr. Subramanian to anyone without hesitation."
"Very disappointed with the care and follow up from Dr. Subramanian. I did not have an overall positive experience with him and his office, including lack of communication (even through mychart) and guidance, and what felt like a less than optimal sense of urgency (while the cancer kept growing) when the pet scan indicated I was heading towards advanced stage. The whole experience made me and my family feel a bit helpless and that we had to push for medical care from the beginning. It was part of what led us to seek treatment elsewhere and not use Dr. Subramanian for my care."
"I've had a very positive experience with Dr. Subramanian and the entire thoracic oncology team at Inova Schar Cancer Institute. They have been very responsive to our questions and attentive to our needs throughout my treatment. We discussed the initial course of treatment and he answered questions about expectations from the treatment and potential other treatment options. Later, he helped me to identify a pertinent clinical trial, and has continued to monitor me closely throughout my participation in the trial, even though he is not the coordinator for that trial. Overall, I am extremely happy with the care and treatment I've received from Dr. Subramanian, and would recommend him and the team at Inova Schar Institute without hesitation."
