"As much as I have enjoyed their food since they opened, the girl that was working there today 01/27/24 around 3pm has made me never want to order from there again. Her customer service is so horrible. She doesn't greet you, she doesn't say you're welcome, she just looks like she hates being there and like she hates every customer just as much. I went in to pick up an order for myself today and she was so dismissive and just looked so bitter and miserable. An hour later I took my niece to pick up another order for herself, and when she came back out to the car she tells me that the girl looked her up and down and started whispering to one of the workers in the neighboring cafe. Just such a nasty, mean girl attitude. Personally, I wont ever eat there again or recommend them to anyone any further. I'll even go as far as to advise AGAINST eating there to anyone who asks."

"I'm sad to see all of the bad reviews because this was by far some of the best vegan food I've had. The we're out of what we wanted to order but I'm not even mad. We got the fish sandwich, crab cakes, beans, potato salad and collard greens, all of which were phenomenal. I see complaints about the staff but I was very friendly to her and not upset that they were out of items seeing as they were close to closing. I tipped well and she gave us extra fish (my favorite) on the side and happily gave us extra tarter sauce for free. She was kind and working hard by herself. I NEED that fried fish recipe in my life!"

"Always go to the Richmond location and it's top notch. This one? Not so much. How do you not have mac and cheese? Unacceptable. Wish I had read the reviews before coming here. The owner should be embarrassed and ashamed to have their brand on this location with this level of service and availability."

"I pray the owners see this review, because this location is AWFUL! We’ve been going to Nu Vegan in DC for at least 10 years, and have loved every single visit! Great service and phenomenal portions! We were so excited to learn they were opening a location in Northern VA, 15 minutes from our home… BUT… The location in Woodbridge is TRASH! It’s located in a really cool food court, but They hired people who don’t care about customer service, and the portions are laughable compared to the price! The owners refuse to acknowledge this location is poorly ran, and the reviews are proof. Hire people who actually want to work, and get back to the basics! Tonight was our last night visiting this location! They make supporting this black owned business impossible."

"This was just okay. It could've been better, but nothing was freshly cooked, and was just scooped out of the hot case. The mac and cheese had great flavor, but the noddles were overcooked. The 'chicken' wings had good flavor and could have had good texture, but were room temperature and obviously had been sitting for a while. We asked for a 'chicken' sandwich and they were out of that, so we asked for a burger and they were out of that, and we asked for one other thing I can't remember now, and they were also out of that. The Japanese place in this food hall also has vegan options, but they actually cook everything to order. I'd recommend that over this place."
