"This restaurant was everything and more. Me and my mom have been looking for a good French restaurant for a while and stumbled upon this restaurant searching google. The food was amazing, we had the French onion soup and it was delicious, next we chose escargot for our appetizer and to say it was anything short of delicious would be an understatement, I had the half rack of lamb and she had the beef with potatoes and it was so soft and tasty, and for dessert she had the French cream cake and I had the key lime cake oh my god was it so good. The ice tea was fresh and the coffee was freshly brewed. I had to make another dinner reservation for the end of the month because the food was that good."
"Came for my mother in laws birthday dinner and had such a lovely dining experience. Food was insanely good. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We’re already planning going back. French country food. Pork chop was moist and delicious. The scallops were like butter- soft and warm. The chicken was tender and huge. Great atmosphere and great food!"
"Lovely French restaurant tucked away in a shaded courtyard of mostly empty storefronts. The head chef, not knowing we were there for a reservation, cheerfully greeted us anyway before we began to approach. He's a good guy, and the server was nice. We ordered some pate which was delicious and served with garlic bread crostini. The escargot were tasty. For the meal, I had the rack of lamb with sweet potato mash which was cooked perfectly and a joy to eat. The lamb t-bones, the beef bourguignon, and the steak frites were also delicious."
"Bertrand's is true class. Not only are the owner & his dog wonderful to talk to and be around. But the staff are extremely outgoing & courteous. The highlight of evening was when the chef came out of to the table and talk to us about why and how he prepares certain menu items. Can't wait to come back."
