Reviews of Moonlite Drive-In Theatre
"So this past weekend was a rather unique event, that I hope next year will have even more people in attendance! (That and good weather) They had a special viewing of the classic hit, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and it was a blast! People dressed up, danced, and other fun stuff before and during the movie. This specific event was done with and for the brookville chamber of commerce, who came out with fun goodie bags and funny activities to do during the showing. From flashing your phones flashlight to a bell, even party hats. Now the downside. At no fault of the drive in OR the chamber of commerce, the weather absolutely SUCKED! It was cold and rainy and windy... again, they can't control the weather, and this event had been advertised for the better part of a month and a half. There was no way for them to change the date or move the schedule to cooperate with the weather, which is a bummer for everyone involved. That being said, if they do this even next year, I WILL be there and WILL dress up! (Weather permitting) The drive-in is a bit of a local legend that we are really lucky to have in this community. If you are from around here or even passing through on a weekend, stop out and catch a movie. The prices are awesome, and the food at the stands (where they actually make their money to run this place) are always top-notch. Personally, I recommend the pizza... Sometimes, they do family-friendly nights, classic movies, and new movies, and they even did an all-night movie marathon at one time. It's always a good time with happy staff who are always willing to help and even chat with their patrons. So stop out and tell them Chris sent you, you won't be sorry!"
"New second screen parking guarantees that half of the people there can only see half of the screen and this is added to by the inconsiderate people that seem to deliberately park in front of you no matter where you go. All of this could have been fixed by correctly installing the second screen with proper parking or mounting the screen higher. We’ve been coming here for years but I will not be bringing my family back here under any circumstances."
"We didn’t have any problems but seeing people kicked out over something a small as bottle of water was ridiculous. I get there are rules but charge people five more dollars and let it slide if it’s that big of a deal. We’ll be at the Kane drive in from now on."
"Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Been quite some time since been to a drive in movie screen . From getting tickets, to snacks a wonderful experience. My car battery died, and they even jumped the car to get it going again. Guaranteed a good time, and will be visiting again soon."
