"I had the worst craving for japchae and a lot of the Korean restaurants in my area are hot pot dishes only (definitely not a bad thing, but I just wanted something else). I found Mahdang on Door Dash, but decided to order through the restaurant's website because I was going to pick it up anyway and I didn't want to pay $20 bucks in service fees. The website makes ordering easy and was able to schedule the time that I wanted later in the evening to go pick my food up. I ordered bulgogi japchae, galbitang soup, and La Galbi. The food was so good!! I'm happy I ordered enough to enjoy leftovers all weekend long. The portions were a really good size, I loved the marinade on the short ribs, and the soup was delicious on a cold night. I will be going back and recommending this place to anyone in the area. I got my food to go, but the restaurant itself was very brightly lit and looked like a great little place to relax and enjoy a good meal. I would consider trying their hot pots when I have the time to sit and enjoy it with friends."

"Fantastic food and quaint atmosphere. A smaller restaurant that serves higher than normal quality foods. Service is pretty good and the kitchen is great. We hardly waited before our food was being served. The galbi dolsot bibimbap is fantastic. The stone bowls are steaming hot and you can still hear the rice cooking.The kimchi jjigae is just as good. I'm hooked on their kimchi pancakes and can't wait to go back."
