"Love, love, love this Geothermal system and Total Comfort. I had a Series 5 Waterfurnace installed at the end of 2020 (during covid) and had a couple of estimates. Patrick's estimate was fair and he brought the well drilling boss with him to ensure every angle was covered. I mentioned that the federal tax credit was dropping in 2021 so it was important to be on-line by 12/31. Everything worked great: The drilling crew was here on schedule (FYI - it will shake your neighborhood for 2 days) and worked hard to regrade the yard. Total Comfort's team was here on schedule and had the basic heating running at the end of the first day of installation. At the end of the 2nd day, it was fully operational and it has been a money saver. A/C is essentially free (granted, my house is on a north-facing hill and heavily treed) and the total cost for electricity for heating for a winter has been $600 each year. Compared to $1600 of heating oil, that is a huge win. I highly recommend geothermal and Total Comfort. If I build a new house or ever need a heating system, it will definitely be geothermal."

"My experience with Total Comfort was nothing short of AMAZING and far different than any other experience I have had from home service providers in recent memory. This experience is how things should be when you hire someone to do work in your house! From start to finish, the Total Comfort team (Dana, Patrick, and everyone else) were excellent to work with. Patrick took the time to understand my specific needs and put together a cost-effective way to solve my problems with as little damage to my house as possible. Patrick is an EXPERT and can easily explain the functionality and cost benefits of geothermal heating and cooling. The installation team was thorough, thoughtful, and meticulous. They are perfectionists. Rather than butcher my basement to run pipes, they carefully thought through where pipes would go and worked tirelessly to make space in existing bulkheads so that additional drywall work was not needed. To take it a step further, they patched most of the holes they cut in my drywall so as to leave my basement nearly as good as when they arrived. I didn’t ask them to do this, they just did it because they are decent people that aren’t just looking to run off to the next job. Once installed, they took the time to tune the system, reduce noise, and overall make sure it was running as expected. After installation, Patrick has continued to follow-up to make sure that my system is performing as expected and to see if my bedroom is cooler than it used to be (it was always hot). He has provided troubleshooting tips where necessary and advice on how to save even more energy and money. As if my experience wasn’t enough, the real value of Total Comfort wasn’t apparent to me until I was talking to my boss recently. He also had a geothermal system installed (not by Total Comfort) and his experience was vastly different. He had to separately hire a well company to drill the wells, an engineering firm to design the system, and an HVAC company to install the equipment. To top it all off, after spending the money to install this system, my boss was unaware of the GREC program in Maryland and had no idea almost 6 months after installation that he could have been making money off his system. Total Comfort managed this entire process from end to end and facilitated the registration of the GRECs associated with my system. We are truly thankful that we found Total Comfort to install our new geothermal system. There are not enough good things to say about them."
