Use them for my maintenance and supplier. 1-09-24 Update, due to the storm, I asked for them to top of the tank, they were extremely responsive and as usual provided what I asked for. I just can't say enough about this company and how responsive they are."
"We have had Shawleys for over 30 years and they have been fantastic. The techs that have also serviced our propane fireplace every year including repairs are top notch! And always fill our tanks on time. However I am EXTREMELY and I mean EXTREMELY furious with a woman I spoke with over a week ago and again today. The first time I called I stated we smell gas from our propane fireplace and even though it's working fine we kept smelling gas which means there is a leak. She proceeds to ask if our tank is full . I Then tell her they just filled the tanks a couple weeks prior. Now she can see from our account when they were filled. Instead of her listening that we continue to smell gas she tells me 2 techs are on medical leave and she didn't know when they will be back and suggested 2 companies to repair the fireplace!! Again I tell her their IS a leak but she refused to listen. Then today I get home and my entire house smells like gas and the propane fireplace is not working. I had to open the doors and windows to air out the house. I waited a couple hours then proceeded to turn it back on and this time flames and an extremely loud pop and more gas smell filled the house. I immediately shut off the fireplace including the valve. I call them twice and someone answered but said nothing so I emailed them. I receive a call from the same woman who apparently doesn't understand the fact their is a leak from the fireplace! She scheduled a tech to come Wednesday so apparently having a gas leak isn't a priority?? She proceeds to tell me to shut off the propane tanks which is absolutely ignorant considering the fireplace has a shut off valve and by going outside to shut off 2 tanks I wouldn't be able to heat my home with our wall unit including use the stove. Never in my life have I dealt with anyone like her and we have never had a problem with them until now. We are FURIOUS! She is absolutely AWFUL and when a customer calls and reports a leak they should NEVER have to wait 2 days for a tech. I want the president or vice President to immediately contact me as this is completely unacceptable and a danger of our house exploding."
"Had a great buying and install process but the company dropped the ball when it mattered most. Im an email guy because I like having things in writing. I explicitly asked for certain things when it came to spending 6 grand for a fireplace. When install day came, the incorrect background was installed. The install guys were very nice about it and said the company would take care of it. However I had quite the opposite experience. I had the customer service person tell my wife that I never asked for the black fireplace and that they installed what I signed for. They messed up the quote and don't want to take the blame for it and make this right. Will not work with this company again. Spent a ton of money and didn't even get what we wanted."
"LOVE this company, great and positive expierence. Highly recommend using Shawleys. Went to the showroom and was helped by Kay. Love her! She took her time to educate us and help us select our gas fireplace insert. Everything she said she was going to do happened on time and everything was in order and complete. Refreshing! Next it was installation day, Walt and Jan were wonderful. So polite, professional, and knowledgeable. They installed our equipment so well, complete and no mess. They took the time to explain everything. Great job guys! Thank you Shawleys for top notch customer service. We are very happy!"
"Outstanding customer service. Just bought the house 7 months ago, they emailed me paperwork to fill out. Fortunately they checked back with me, they'd never gotten my paperwork. Sent a new package and was notified they had it and how much gas did I have, did I need a delivery. I talked to Kendra Harvey on the phone once briefly. I'm pretty happy with them."
