"You have to wait on hold for almost an hour to talk to someone who appears to be in a call center. $135 for rescheduling appointments even with 24hour notice. Therapists seem to read from a generic script."
"I love my new counselor at Thriveworks. In the past, I've had mixed and poor experiences with therapy so I committed to doing the work on my own. Years later, I determined I needed more to really reach my goals of personal growth. After a recommendation from a friend, I reached out to Thriveworks and booked with Lisa. Best decision ever. She's kind, compassionate and she is giving me tools to better identify and reconcile issues from the past and present. Having remote sessions makes it easy to meet regularly which means I have no excuses to miss a session. I look forward to continuing my growth with Lisa's insight and guidance. Thank you Lisa and thank you Thriveworks!"
"So I don't know where to begin... I booked my first appointment already had a bad experience. They didn't put the correct phone number to remind me of the appointment and I didn't get any notification or link for my virtual appointment. Bc of this the therapist called the wrong number. They charged $99 for a missed appointment but they don't send a text to your phone or call the correct phome number. Why would I reschedule when they giving me overdrafts in my moms account. Im being punished by being charged for money i don't have. I cannot afford this. They ask for your card just to book appointments so they can put you in debt. I give up on going to any therapist to recieve help. We didn't consent to charging cards at any time. It's unfortunate cuz its hard to find any specialists."
"Hello All, I to am writing a review in regards to the billing department. Please take note I love my therapist and will not bad mouth her. It does suck she works with this particular company. ( reason for my 2 stars is Ms. Patricia Clark) I understand the company recently switched from accepting Medicaid to NOT. Well the training was not given with the switch. The billing department is rude and not helpful. I have spoken with several people and feel the same for everyone I've spoken with. Today I spoke with Tiffany and she referred to her supervisor as Christine Hurley; who I did not speak with because Tiffany hung up on me! I had a card on file as request and was charged WHENEVER and for WHATEVER amount. Please get some training for the billing department and get your (Thrieveworks) affairs in order. This is for those seeking help not to be frustrated and cheated out of money. If you choose this service please check your statements and be sure the charges are correct."
"Common review in the lat few weeks seems to be with billing. Well, that’s what this review is for too. I signed up about 6 months ago. My copay was $25 through anthem blue cross blue shield and everything was going great up until January. I noticed I was no longing getting a payment reminder and when I would check the payments gradually started increasing. I emailed support and then received an email saying they we aware of the situation and they were working on the problem and our accounts would be reimbursed. Fast forward to last week where I open my bank statement to see a $335 charge from Thriveworks. I have had to cancel all sessions leaving me with a almost empty bottle of Zoloft and no psychiatrist to discuss with or get a refill and no more therapy sessions to continue progress in regards to mental health so therefore I would not recommend Thriveworks to anyone and I will not be returning. Let me add this is not to give the therapist and psychiatrist who work for them a bad rep. Mine were great and I’m sorry I won’t be able to work with them anymore."
