"Practice seems to be more focused on monopolistic gratification. Due to a pertinent work deliverable I was unable to attend a much needed session. Instead of applying compassion, I was forcefully advised I would be charged $50.00. Instead of utilizing common sense best business practices; focusing on a trajectory of having a long-term client, $50 was the sole focus which I REFUSE to pay. During the session it was focused more on superficial small talk (death to an introvert), and really all I was seeking to obtain was grief counseling NOT churn up old previous issues. This tactic is certainly a good money making approach to encourage you to come back and pay more. Do you really ever get to the source of WHY you came in the first place? Probably not. This experience solidifies why the mental health system is so incredibly broken. It took months to even find someone, and it has inevitably made me decide at this point therapy is not best for everyone."
