"A local treasure! The second you enter the smell of fresh ground coffee hits you. Their selection of coffee alone has something for EVERYONE! Not to mention the gourmet goodies-truffles, candy bars, dipped cookies, and so much more! They have everything from funny pins, to jewelry, to prom gowns, incense, candles, and much, much more! There's something for everyone here!"
"The proper assessment of coins Tom purchased from us wasn't done. We found when it was far too late that what he had purchased from us had far more value (better than 100%) and left us feeling robbed in the end. In your response are you trying to tell me that you even looked up the value of ANY of the coins you purchased before you knew thier true worth?? ???"
"I bought a ring from Tom's a few weeks ago for a back up secret santa, for the weekend of December 2nd. This was my first time in the store since I've heard such nice things about it. My boyfriend even bought me a nice flavored bottle of honey from here and we were so excited to come back here together. Aside from choosing this ring which took us about 30 minutes, we also bought some truffles and a caramel cashew candy. I was even able to use my student discount for 20% off which was awesome. The person ended up not coming for the secret santa, so I had no use for the ring anymore but unfortunately I lost my receipt. When I came back to try to return about 2 weeks later, the initial employee didn't think it would be a problem and she was very kind but had to call the manager. When I presented this ring I explained to the manager the situation and also let her know I used the student discount, while she was inspecting the ring. She said we would need a receipt- which I get every store has a policy. I also even presented the option that Tom's advertises which is to buy " gold and silver"- to which she said it would've had to be marked - which I understand as well. My problem with the manager is that she quickly lost patience then said in a loud and nasty tone in front of a long line and crowded store " THIS DOES NOT EVEN LOOK LIKE ONE OF OURS". I was so embarrased and even offered to look back through the ring selection since I noticed during my 30 minute browsing a few weeks prior there were duplicates in different sizes. Her statement made me feel low and embarrased; like I was trying to scam her or be dishonest. She was very rude and unfortunately although I really enjoyed this store, I will no longer be supporting this small business."
"Never been to Tom's....my mother loved shopping there!! I moved back home last year from Syracuse to care for my mom before she passed. My visit to Tom's was a surprise for my aunt who has been feeling a bit down after my mom's passing...THE SMELL of the shop was sooo inviting and actually invigorating!!!! The staff was extremely helpful and sweet. They have so many unique items!! Can't wait to visit again...and I don't even drink coffee but boy oh boy that coffee smell is INCREDIBLE!!!!"
"I took my daughter and her best friend today to pick out a homecoming dress. It was our first time ever visiting the store and it was wonderful. Kenzie was so patient with the girls (almost two hours later of trying on dresses) and helpful! The store smells amazing! I tried their coffee while I was there and it was delicious! I do recommend this place!"
