"The clinician who doesn't know me; she's a “sub” so to speak. Is incredibly kind, intelligent and seems generally interested in my particular situations. This, in spite i’ll only be with her on short term she listens and tries to give good suggestions; without overstepping my boundaries in areas I'm not comfortable with. My regular therapist is all of these listed attributes and many more. However, this particular review only relates to my “substitute” clinician. In near future, I'll be happy to share my thoughts once I am able to reconnect fully with my therapist."

"This review is based solely on my experience with the administrative staff, not the therapists, as I was never able to engage with a therapist. I'd contacted Vance Mental Health in March 2022 regarding services for my child. At that time I was told there was a waiting list and I'd be contacted if/when there was availability. In May I received notification that we could come off the waiting list and schedule an appointment. I scheduled an appointment for a time in July, when my child would be out of school for the summer. Prior to this I'd provided my child's contact and insurance information and assumed everything was scheduled. Leading up to the appointment, my child and I were receiving notifications/reminders. On the day of the scheduled appointment, at 12:30pm, my son received (what seemed like) an automated text and email that a form was required by 1pm that day or the appointment would be cancelled. My child immediately contacted me and I began to call Vance Mental Health to get clarification on what was needed. I called numerous times, selecting different prompts/options to attempt to speak to anybody, and reached no one. I left several messages with no return call. At 1pm my child received an email that the appointment was cancelled. I have since sent emails to understand what happened. This was in July. To date, after several voicemail messages and emails, I still have not received any response. I waited until today to post this review, but I am highly disappointed in the lack of customer service. Moreover, I'm disappointed in the lack of concern for my child who requested therapy and was looking forward to this appointment."
"This review is based on my experience with the administrative employees here. I put in a request for services for my daughter. They had a form on the website that asked what kind of insurance my daughter had. I put down that she has Medicaid. She emailed me back to say we don’t take your insurance, plus we have a 8-10 week waiting list so good luck. I guess she assumed that I wanted to use insurance? I was actually prepared to pay cash for their services. And, I was ok with being added to the 8-10 week waiting list. It would have been nice if those options were given to me. I can’t help but to think that if I didn’t say she had Medicaid, her reply wouldn’t have been so dismissive."
