"The most vanilla group of therapists who only want to treat a typical white suburban kid that bounces around with ADHD issues due to too much screen time. Anything beyond that and they will quickly drop your child in the middle of treatment instead of helping them transition to another mental health care provider, thus pulling the rug out from under the child and leaving them with zero care at a moment’s notice. When I confronted them and asked if they can provide my child with the 50% solution they had until we found a trauma specialist to take him, the therapist at this practice just responded with a tone-deaf comment about how she really cares about her pediatric patient and that’s why she’s dropping him and how it was a super hard decision for her to make."
