"Posting this anonymously as I do not want further contact with the owner. Unprofessional, unethical. They let anyone be counselors this day, I suppose. Would not recommend. I fear for the continuing patients of this facility that they are getting supposed help from these people."
"Disclaimer: this review regards me going through intake and doing telehealth appointments during a pandemic, so whatever I am saying here is accentuated by the fact that they also have great flexibility in times of uncertainty. I have nothing but positive feedback to share on my experiences with Clear View Counseling Center. I reached out, expecting to get contacted within a month or so, and was responded to the day of, with things going incredibly smoothly into intake and then regular visits. Throughout my time so far with them, everything has been so smooth and professional. They know that when you reach out for counseling, you are incredibly vulnerable in taking that first step, and they have things under control to the point where you feel like you are in great hands! I will speak on Shannon, as she is the counselor I was paired with by the coordinator. Her approach is a cognitive-behavioral one towards mindfulness, and that level of inter-field coherence is really valuable to me. With her, the problems don't necessarily have immediate solutions, but rather she really helps me break down the thought process I am going through and identify the source of the issue, or at least start fresh to think of things more clearly. I would wager that most of the counselors there are focused on mindfulness and that wholesome approach is so important to me. Too often we get caught up in the details and the whole person is overlooked, but they are the same They utilize a portal for scheduling appointments, which, to me, is another way to reduce stress. Another function of the portal is that it leans toward things being paperless (I have not gotten one hard copy of anything) and that, for any sort of medical office, is impressive in itself; remember, correspondence is easy, it can just all be done electronically. They have all of their bases covered policy-wise and reading the welcome packet will easily get you on the same page. They do have a missed-visit policy and fee, but with the ability to go in and request to reschedule your own appointments, as long as you are on top of your situation, you should never miss a visit. The billing department has been able to work with me through a new plan that has changed several times, and again, responses have come within 24 hours. For example, I have gotten itemized receipts for reimbursements, have updated my policy IDs, and have even gotten credits to my account as my old policy was showing a higher copay. Having worked in a billing department for over a year, I know how things can easily get backed up and no turned around quickly. At Clear View Counseling Center, I have felt like I am in great hands the entire time."

Shannon is a good listener, is intelligent and has helped me see priorities and get a better "grip" on my life. "Good counselor hampered by horrible and possibly even corrupt billing dept. From the beginning they tried to charge us more than their contract with Tricare for services. From trying to charge a higher copay than the Tricare contracted $41 - to trying to charge an unauthorized "intake appointment surcharge" for the first visit. I have written and provided documentation from Tricare (Statement of Benefits) stating our only obligation is $41 copay per visit - which we have paid in full - yet they still insist we owed them more. Then the other day, out of nowhere, WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION, THEY ILLEGALLY CHARGED MY DEBIT CARD FOR SOME RANDOM AMOUNT. A card I told them specifically they were NOT to use. I have filed complaints with Tricare, my bank and them. Waiting for resolution. Here’s the other problem - they don’t publish their billing dept. phone number. They make you talk to them THROUGH THE COUNSELOR. which is absurd and not fair to the counselor. Last, they immediately replied to this review claiming theres only $9 in dispute (It's much more) - then proceeds to give me their same voicemail number that always is a dead end when calling. Also they claim to have been trying to "reach out" but never once have we received a call or voicemail from the owner. This review stays as written until a full refund of $49.79 by way of check for the unauthorized charge to my wife debit card, which we have had to cancel and wait for a new one because of this fraudulent charge. UPDATE: Tricare informed us recently the PROGRAM INTEGRITY AND FRAUD DEPT contacted the owner of this company and they admitted to Tricare they overcharged yet they continue to be silent with on this. No call back. No refund. No apology. Nothing. Just heads in the sand. I submitted another complaint with PIFD. TLDR; They admitted to overcharging is, owe us $49.79 back but still crickets from them."
