"An incredible group of professionals who care deeply about their clients. The guidance provided by Family Compass has given me and my family the tools to help our special needs child succeed. If you need a committed therapist, this is the place to go!"
"I have been working with family compass for the past 7 years with my daughter we are so grateful to all of the work that they have done with us and her and working with her school and teachers over the years we would have been lost without them. Social worker are we worked with their was so knowledgeable and so great at working with my daughter because of them our daughter is now on her way to becoming a well-adjusted middle schooler. we will be forever indebted to the team of Josh Metz LCSW, Moshe Shtuhl, PhD and Dan Dinsmoor PhD who introduced us to neurofeedback. I highly recommend them."
"Overall, extremely unimpressed by the experience. We went to see a licensed clinical social worker for my 4 year old son. Although our LCSW did have some helpful suggestions, he was extremely uncommunicative, and could not set an expectation for when we would receive feedback. Sometimes it would be 2-3 weeks before we'd find out next steps, etc. Also, their billing department is terrible. We went several months without receiving a bill, and then got one massive one all at once. Overall, I'm not sure how they stay in business. Wouldn't recommend."
"Terrible experience. Dr. Stern never returned phone calls or emails after we spent over $3,000 to have my son diagnosed with ADHD. The "social" groups don't exist. There isn't a receptionist so when you walk in for your appointment noone knows you are there and you have to yell down a small hallway. Really weird and unprofessional. Waste of time."
"I am only giving this practice a one star since I am not given an option of zero stars. I was referred to this practice by Potomac Psychological Center due to the young age of my daughter. I was told these "professionals" were highly experienced with young children who have stress, anxiety or a traumatic issues they are dealing with. I began with their telephone "screening" and as soon as I mentioned my familial status I was immediately discounted by the head of the practice who said he does not deal with people who have my familial status which was irrelevant to the care my daughter needed. I begged him to not focus on the status of my family but the care my daughter needed which is of the utmost importance to me and my family. The head of the practice was rude not only to myself but to my mother who tired to ask him to please hear our concerns for her behavior and he said he would not due to my familial status. The head of the practice discriminated against us, would not even put the care of a child first before his beliefs, and on top of that was belittling and rude to both my mother and I."
