"Amber Hill PT, in Thurmont, is an elite group of people that have been the most important part of my healing process. In June 2023, I was in a nasty accident with a tractor trailer and suffered both neck and back injuries. When I, first, walked through their door, I was uneasy, wary, and could barely function due to my pain. Their techs, Lea, Mackenzie, and Bailey are exceptional in what they do! "I have been in PT here at Amber Hill location in Thurmont for almost a year now before and after my shoulder surgery. They are very accommodating and supportive. They have helped me through my fears, tears and supported me through this injury and my recovery. They all work really hard and even when they are busy they give you everything they have. Kelly has been with me from the start and seen me at my worst and in tears my very first evaluation before surgery was an option. She is supportive and talks me through everything with great care. She sees what I need and encourages me to get through it. Kelly also has been dry needleling me for a while now before and after surgery. This has helped me tremendously. She is caring, informative, and talks me through the process. Tommy has also been with me from the beginning. He is caring and talks me through everything. He gets me started on new excerises as soon as he sees that im conquering an old one. He gives great massages to my shoulder, arm, and hand to help relax my muscles that want to stay all bunched up. Denise has been with me since my surgery. She is so comforting. She listens to me rant about my recovery and talks me through everything as well. She will encourage me to reach for my goal. She also gives great massages. All three of them are a wealth of information and help me process my recovery and fears. They celebrate in my victories as well. Lea and Bailey along with the other techs have been great. They help out so much and know us the patients well. They see your progress and celebrate with you. The office is upbeat, personable, and welcoming. I'm not sure when my graduation from therapy will take place but I know I'm healing and getting better everyday with this awesome team helping me along the way."
