Piney Valley(keyser healthcare center)

"My sister was in this nursinghome and was treated very good until the pandemic when it had changed its name. The doctor who worked at this nursinghome tried to fight me when I had my sister put in hospice. The hospital said her copd and heart condition was so advanced that she had only six months left to live. Hospice that came into care for her was very good and had trouble also getting the doctor to work with them. She was taken off a nebulizer med because it made her heart race and hospital put her on a medicine for congestive heart failure. I came to visit her daily and one day I noticed she was getting very swollen and not acting right. I told the Physician Assistant who told me her meds were changed and the Dr took her off her med for congestive heart failure and added the nebulizer med that hospital had stopped to her treatment every four hours. I believe that the Dr.that overseen her care should have not changed her meds and I would not have lost her within five weeks of being in hospice care. I do not recommend this nursinghome any longer."

"Listen people do not take your loved ones to this place I see now how they got a 5 star rating only one person rated them. The people is nice but they know nothing,they told me and family that our loved one was dying of natural causes I demanded that she be taken to er and our loved one was in septic shock and organs was shutting down this happened in a 15 day stay that was only supposed to be skilled care when my loved one went there was on path to recovery and up talking calling people on cell phone to being on death bed I normally don't rate places but please think twice before this place"
