"If i could leave a 0 i would. not only did she not do the specific blood work i asked at least twice for but she also tried to lecture me for asking questions saying i am being rude, actually laughable. she is rude every time i have gone to her, disrespectful, and slow. she has no problem wasting patients time. i would definetly just try anywhere else. the way she talks to me is belitting, thinks she deserves some sort of higher authority treatment. You are not my mom talk to your own kids like that."
"I can only recommend Dr. Modi, she was my obgyn during my first pregnancy which resulted in a emergency c section because of preeclampsia. She came into the hospital on a Sunday for the c-section and I felt very comfortable in her hands. She explained everything throughly and the surgery and scare are healing super well. She might seem a little direct and visits are only short but that worked really well for me. Also she is the only obgyn that I was able to find where you can get an appointment on short notice. The office in greenbelt is def not the prettiest or most up to date and everything seems a little unorganized but Dr Modi her self is a great obgyn and I can only recommend her."
"My most recent visit with Dr. Modi was absolutely horrible. Not only did I have to wait almost 2 hours after my appointment time. When it was time for Dr. Modi to share with me testing results. She did so in an insensitive, brash, and rude manor. I was told with my diagnosis I would be in daily pain and any treatment option would leave me infertile at 27. When I attempted to ask questions or get further information, i received flippant answers and insensitive jokes. I was rushed out of the appt and not provided with any clear answers. It was truly a terrible experience."
"Honestly I'm not sure who these reviews are talking about but not Dr. Modi. I've been a patient of hers since 2009. Yes they've had some issues with fluctuating office staff and some of the service leaves a lot to be desired but 1. It's a doctors office, you'll have to wait. 2. Pregnant women will take precedence because they have to take glucose tests, get sonograms and hold in fluids that'll need to be immediately disposed of (I've been there so I know how that goes) and 3. Dr. Modi isn't the only one there, there are other people who work with her I don't even go near. Dr. Modi has always listened to my concerns, answered my questions and been patient with through heavy cycles, painful blood clots and abnormal PAPs. Every surgery and test she's been my gyno. She's even helping me through this horrible ride into perimenopause and tested me without asking to see if I'm in active menopause. She'll continue to be my doctor until I move out of the state. I'm a full 30 minutes in the other direction of her office and I still make the trip faithfully and annually to see Dr. Modi."
"When I first met Dr. Modi she was not very patient oriented ( all business) and I figured it was a bad day. Every appointment until my most recent appointment took place in her office with her sitting behind a desk. I saw her following a surgical procedure. She came in and instead of responding with " hello" when I said, " hi" she just me when pulling off a bandage and instead of warning me said, " I have to do this'. . I asked a question and she looked at me as if i asked the dumbest question ever. shhmy stomach. She hurt me"
