"Let me start off by saying that I love Dr. Spooner and have been a patient for over a decade. I've always had amazing experiences with her and all of the nurses. My issue is with the front desk receptionist I saw today. She was incredibly snarky towards me when I arrived for my appointment without a mask. She gave an attitude stating that there was language in the email reminder to wear a mask however, I received two appointment reminder emails and no where in either email did it state that a mask was required. I was charged $5 for a mask by the receptionist after explaining to her that I didn't have one in my car or anywhere on my person. She huffed and puffed during this entire interaction, which was completely unnecessary and definitely left a bad impression. I'm less concerned with being charged the $5 and more concerned that you have someone representing your practice that is as unprofessional as she was. Going to the gynecologist is never a favorite on my to do list, but it's always a pleasure seeing Dr. Spooner. I regret that the front desk woman made this an even more stressful experience than it needed to be. Every single person in this office is so nice and friendly and it's a shame that the first person you see when you walk through the door is someone with a bad attitude."

They took time to add many details to improve my experience from calming ocean waves being played in the room, to warming the medical tools so they’re not as cold to the touch. Dr. Spooner was kind and patient. She treated me like a woman, not just a patient. She really talked to me and took time to listen to my concerns. I felt heard and in control and never felt like she had an agenda or was trying to pressure me into doing anything. She’s the best! And you won’t meet a friendlier office staff!"
