"I was so terribly disappointed about my experience at this establishment today. I came in and asked for a scratch test on a piece of jewelry to determine whether or not the piece was gold and the ungentleman (I'm assuming he was the owner) behind the counter waved me off as if I was a street urchin. He refused to do a scratch test. When I asked him why he was so reluctant to do a simple scratch test ( It takes less than a minute) his response was I wasting his time, he had 44 years of experience and he didn't need a scratch test to tell him that the piece of jewelry wasn't gold. That may be true but to a novice a scratch test is the only way to know if something is gold or not. So a little customer service could have gone a very long way. But he seemed completely uninterested in providing the simplest of courtesies. I will never walk through that door again. Note to the owner, you are an elderly man. You've been on this planet for a long time. I should not have to tell you that kindness makes this world go round. Shame on you for your behavior."

"If you want to be treated like a king or queen, this is not the place for you. If you need a watch battery changed or a simple repair at a fair price, then this is the place for you. The proprietor is an older man who does not like to be rushed so be prepared to come back in an hour or two."
