"A good amount of the providers don't really care especially the doctors, but the nurses and midwives are amazing. The worse Dr I had was dr Stewart. He feeds into the stereotype of doctors that don't believe women when they are in pain especially black women. Minimized my feelings and symptoms. Kept asking me the same questions I already answered. I made sure to include in my birth plan not to have him as a doctor delivering my baby. If he was the only doctor available and I had to go in labor I would've waited held my baby in for another day. Don't understand why a dr can't do his job and care for the women under his care."

"I always wait at least a year to give a place a review, I trust this place during my 4th pregnancy, during the pregnancy everything was fine but they refuse to help me having another VBAC, I had 2 C-sections and my 3rd was a successful vaginal delivery, I thought they will be more understandable and help me out with my 4th pregnancy but at the end it was a mess! They try to force me to have a C-section when my chances of another successful VBAC were really high but when I got into labor Dr. Polagani was extremely rude telling me that it doesn’t matter my past VBAC and that all she can do was a C-section, they wouldn’t even let me try to have a labor with them, they said I have to pass my labor at home and get there only when the baby was coming out. I can’t believe I went there my whole pregnancy to end like that. I put 2 stars because some people of the staff… I will not recommend this place to any mom trying to have a VBAC. They are no only unsecured and scared but very very rude about it."

"Dr. Merzouk is just absolutely incredible. I can’t give enough praise about my first c-section that she performed and my recovery has been outstanding. Cynthia is a wealth of knowledge and took care of my son’s circumcision with so much care. And then the labor and delivery nurses at Meritus were angels sent from God. Everyone on the team jumped right in to help me with breast feeding and they gave great advice. Birth and postpartum can be a wild experience and you’re under a lot of stress with all of the quick changes but this whole team made my birth experience incredible and I would do it a million times over again because they were that great to me and my family. Thank you, sincerely from my heart I thank each and every one of you!"
