"I used dr. Ackerman my entire pregnancy and his bedside manner is absolutely wonderful. Despite that however, my daughter came on a day he wasn’t working, and I ended up doing my L&D with Megan from the same office who is also a midwife. Let me tell you WHAT, she was an absolute ANGEL in L&D. She let me labor down so babygirl could come on her own terms, and the entire time I was in labor we laughed and cracked jokes. I even got to see dr.Ackerman at the end and overall it was wonderful. I would give this 5 stars but the front desk staff are a bit standoffish, and not overly professional or friendly. I had many scheduling errors for appointments. If it were not for that, 10/10 would recommend these two providers again."
"I took my 90 yr old stepmother to see Dr. Ackerman and he was absolutely wonderful with her. He was so respectful and gentle with her and she was at ease during the exam. He pulled his chair up to her and explained everything to her in terms she could understand. The follow-up exam was just as great as her first visit. I highly recommend him."
"My only experience here was a disaster. The person who attended me was totally unprofessional and completely irresponsible. Her manner was pleasant but her execution irregular. The tool she used was sitting beside on her tray unsterilized! Result. I ended up with a Urinary Tract Infection for which she prescribed 3 days of antibiotic! It helped but came raging back double force. I went to my PCP, who was amazed at the stupidity of a 3 day antibioto treatment and put me on a 10 day treatment ."
"(Christina Sheppard) I felt very relaxed and comfortable with Dr. Arkman. He has a wonderful professional but warm bedside manner. He also personally called my insurance and got my denial overturned for my upcoming surgery. I feel I am in great hands. His staff has also been very warm and inviting. I love this office. I wish I would have found them years ago."
"Dr. Ackerman was so great today and made me feel totally comfortable. I've never been to a gynecology appointment and been so relaxed and welcomed. I am excited to see him again for future appointments! The whole staff today was amazing, keep it up guys!"
