"For decades, we had company & personal tax reporting by “cheap” CPAs. Upon the sale of my company assets and our office building in 2022, we needed the proper computing of capital gains. "Initially I thought I found a good team to work with. Mark told me the services they could provide me and it was definitely what I was looking for. I was told $200 for accounting services and $75 for bookkeeping services. I then got a bill that showed $445 for accounting services and $92 for bookkeeping services. Unfortunately, Mark did not disclose this rate change to me at all. I received a bill with higher rates to my surprise and he refused to acknowledge this mislead information. When I then asked him to adjust the bill to what we agreed to prior he refused. If price is not your concern in any means then maybe this group is good for you. If you are not comfortable with unexpected increases in fees then you’re taking a major risk. They can decide to charge you whatever they want on a whim. I also received an email a few days ago that their rates are going up. Any person willing to work with this group should know that they will not include these rates before they work with you. They also charged me $333.75 for “Tax Planning” and “Outside Controllership”. I was never told beforehand to expect these charges and they disregarded to tell me beforehand. I highly advice against this company as they took advantage of me and I am writing this review to warn others."
